Poetry "impure" policy of "Trampling the oblivion" in the assembly
"Beba do Samba" (Rome) - January 8, 2011 by James
Cuttone
January 8, 2011, 100 poets (Contilia A., R. Roversi, G. D'Elia, N. Paci, M. Cucchi, B. Costa, N. Cavalera, N. Balestrini, L. Page, N. De Vita, L. Socci, D. Note, F. earrings, M. Lenti ...) of "Trampling the oblivion" will meet again to "Beba do Samba" in Rome to present the book in its edition (second) paper. The work, now it comes to the types of Cathedral / Argo (in collaboration with the Association Nie Wieme). The first presentation (and the first edition of the 100 poets) in the form of e-book, was the January 8, 2010 (always the "Beba do Samba").
The second presentation (such as an anniversary) will also, again, an opportunity to discuss the deterioration of the current world system and the characters, to say the least, low alloy or short stature, who administer it. In Italy certainly rule to increase the GDP of the private-breakdown, youth unemployment, and impoverishment of the "sans" means no rights, no home, no job, no conflicts antagonists, without poetry, without an alternative culture and politics, etc..
The work, as we know, had a first edition (electronics) e-book formats. The editors were David Note, Fabio earrings and the portal of the poem "The Crane" in collaboration with the "Argo", "The Unit", "Left". Today, the volume, in its elegant print edition, in addition to the note "A secular miracle" by Luigi-Alberto Sanchi, also carries an introductory note by Valerio Cuccaroni.
The constant, worthy of note is that these one hundred poets (with different styles and languages, but united in respect of the Italian Constitution and the values \u200b\u200bof anti-fascist resistance) have raised a hornet's nest of interventions. There have been controversies and inane invective for cutting anti-system of the book by the family of Berlusconi. The texts of the poets, in fact, do not avoid or the positions taken by "anti" or the pitfalls of critical thinking. After all everyone knows that the regime of Berlusconi, one of the faithful execution of the sinister liberal modernization of class, and his gang of organ-grinder, or do not like the divisiveness, nor the anti-fascist republican democracy.
Strange, though, is that people like Adriano Sofri they are, apparently, on the same lane that follows a denial or removal of political-cultural critic to the work of the authors of "Trampling forgetting."
so that, at this point, we like to return the response from entitled "Those poets off the hot tin roof. A reply to Adriano Sofri ", the book's editors (David and Fabio Note Earrings):
" I was looking good and on the roof of my building / when suddenly you come to drive away with a pool cue / as if I were a urlandomi cockroach that are good for nothing.. "
"is the verses of an Italian poet, born in 1974 and from the roof of his palace was launched last year, flying against the world, they bade farewell to the life and Italy.
He has left two important books and pieces of what is considered essential to the generation of Italian poets of the first decade of the millennium, Adriano Sofri that knows neither read, simply pontificate on "La Repubblica" on what to ignore, as if forgetting the entertainment and media in relation to the poetic genre can be considered a form of reality, at least so far as its intellectual adjacency the official representation of the communication of culture and not an act of conformism (the reference is all to the article "Those guys on the roof of a country without poets," published in La Repubblica "on 27 November 2010).
In January 2010 one hundred Italian poets have joined in the meeting flowing into the most important and widespread civil work of poetry in Italy for "Trampling the oblivion" of a country without historical memory, democratic culture and common planning.
challenged the exile of poetry and art from the public debate and interdisciplinary, exposing the seriousness of the issue of culture in Italy and also in the small environment of journalism of the left, where the confusion between the concepts of art and entertainment, culture and living room continues to reign supreme. Many Italian newspapers
hosted, gave voice mocked or cheered the case of the "Poets in revolt." Some protesters even raised their verses written on some billboards in the B-No Day in Rome, as testified by the daily newspaper "L'Unità".
traveling at his own expense from all over Italy, joined the hundred poets in self-managed meeting in Rome's San Lorenzo, along with students and temporary workers. Where
looked Adriano Sofri, in those days? Just
him that if he had wished he could make the wave of spontaneous cultural revolt and poetic as a matter of urgent policy and programmatic for the whole of Italy and the Left to be redone?
The poets were there, off the roof, because the roofs are not the only place to meet and make their voices heard, dear Adriano Sofri, but with eyes fixed to the roofs, the roofs of leachate bells, to the roofs Aquila destroyed, the roofs of abandoned asbestos factories, the roofs of shame detention centers scattered throughout Italy and dilapidated schools or reduced to an impenetrable barons and fiefdoms.
poets is that they are well down from the rooftops, as the towers, which are on the streets, among people who watch and give voice to those who did not have voice.
These same poets, and this time hopefully some representative of the newspaper in which he writes, will meet again Saturday, January 8, 2011, from 17 hours at the headquarters of the Cultural Association "Beba do Samba" in San Lorenzo, for the second National Assembly of "Trampling forgetfulness," where all souls criticism of this country will be called to intervene, to confront, to analyze the social, cultural and policy of this shameful moment in history, discussing its exclusion of the Poet, Soul of dissent, memory and change, the key areas of Italian culture and communication.
It will perhaps be the best way to remember together, not death but life, poetry and hopes of Elsa Morante, who continue to sparkle from these gray roofs and crumbling of Italy. "
