"Trampling the oblivion": "embrace the culture
no degradation to the archaeological and cultural landscape of Cape Boeo
Square Portanuova (Marsala, 11-13, March 5, 2011)
On 5 March 2011, citizens Marsala married (locally) the cause of the national event "embrace the culture" held in Rome. Adhere and show the spirit of the initiatives of "Trampling the forgetting" to stop the deterioration that is left and used the PARK HISTORIC ARCHAEOLOGICAL AND NATURAL AND CULTURAL LANDSCAPE-Cape Boeo. Exploitation, in fact, is subtracting to the park land for expansion of road and clipping of the islets of the station, perhaps, to use "car park" or other commercial installations shelters?.
The initiative is organized by "non-extinct poetry Ong," Dynamic Psychology "," Friends of the Third World, "" Freedom " "Agency" Communio "," Waldensian Church, "" Rainbow Group "and" there is Marsala, which gather ("sit-in" to the streets "Portanuova" of two hours: 11-13 of 5 March 2011) to all those who wish to join the event. The protest is intended to be dedicated to the enhancement of the entire site and the right to public enjoyment of the beauty of the area. And in this one with all the implications in terms of positive economics (working for indigenous cultural tourism, revitalization of the sites returned to the people) for the City of Marsala, which project involves the construction dl.
The archaeological park and 2rocche Cape Boeo (Marsala) is historical, and cultural landscape that must be cared for, preserved and enhanced. Its natural beauty and history today, however, is in the throes all'incuria, degradation, and to failures in the grip of the garbage. Should not overlook the "robbery" forms of yielding a reduction in its borders (by certain public works is not necessary) meters and meters of the road or lay-bys are not useful unless the disfigurement and the impoverishment of the cultural park itself.
Yet, in recent years, there have been initiatives in place and proposals (by free citizens, been answered) that have shown the potential for enhancing and revitalizing all that nature and history have left a legacy to the City of Marsala. The organizers invite the participation
asking everyone to take charge of posters, music, poetry, art, etc.. that testify to "embrace the culture."
